Oil Imports Declined 18.1 Percent In April
According to the “Oil Market Sector Report” published by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority for April, the crude oil intake, which plays the biggest role in total oil imports of the Republic of Turkey, fell 1.1 percent to 2 million 352 thousand 277 tons.
In this period, the most crude oil imports were realized by Iraq with 1,464 thousand 144 tons, followed by Russia with 5,254 tons and Norway with 273,93 tons.
Diesel imports fell 52.8 percent in the said period and fell to levels of 462,735 tons. The other part of the import was aviation and maritime fuels, fuel-oil types and similar crude oil products.
Thus, the total oil imports of the Republic of Turkey recorded a loss of 18.1 percent in April compared to the same month of last year, as 2 million 937 thousand 325 tons.
– Oil exports
Exports of aviation fuels fell by 48.9 percent in April compared to the same month of last year and landed at 197,200 tons. Exports of marine fuels fell by 81.6 percent to 50 thousand 431 tons.
At the same time, diesel types exports fell 112 percent to 360 thousand 621 tons, while gasoline types exports dropped 45 percent to 118 thousand 519 tons was.
Thus, the total exports with the other products mentioned in the oil market decreased by about 27 percent and fell to 867 thousand 14 tons.
