Economic Confidence Index remained Positive in June
The economic confidence index increased by 19.1% in June and reached 73.5.
While the economic confidence index was 61.7 in May, it rose 19.1% in June and climbed to 73.5. This improvement in the economic confidence index came from the rise in consumer, real sector, service, retail trade, and construction industry confidence indices.
The Consumer Confidence Index increased by 5.2% in June compared to the month we left behind, and the real sector confidence index increased by 22.2% compared to the month we left behind, and the service sector confidence index increased by 8.5%. The retail trade sector confidence index rose by 9.3% to 86.4, and the construction sector confidence index rose by 33.1% to 78.0.
The economic confidence index hovering above 100 indicates optimism about the general economic situation, and less than 100 indicates negativity about the general economic situation.
