Economic Confidence Starts to Grow in the Euro Area
Economic confidence comes back to the Euro Zone, with manufacturers and retailers rebounding, following coronavirus issues that have shaken the economy globally.
Economic confidence climbed from 67.5 a month earlier in June to 75.7, according to figures from the European Commission reported from Brussels today. Although this data remained below the expectations at the 80 level, it remained above the previous one.
However, it was well below the levels at the beginning of the year. This shared report shows that like other counterparts, full recovery is still quite far away.
In June, industrial sector confidence was recorded as -21.7, consumer sector confidence -14.7, service sector confidence -35.6, retail sector confidence -17.4, and construction sector confidence -12.4.
